The New England Americana Association is a community based organization, seeking to serve as a catalyst for artists in the New England music scene by promoting the diverse musical styles that make up Americana as well as other Americana-adjacent music including (but not limited to) Folk, Country, Celtic, Polka, Alt Country, Bluegrass and Blues.

THE NEW ENGLAND AMERICANA FEST

The New England Americana Fest is an open-air celebration of roots, rhythm, and regional talent across the Americana spectrum. It’s an all-day lineup of genre-spanning performances that highlight the richness and diversity of Americana music. Hosted in partnership with the New England Americana Association, this free festival brings together beloved local acts and emerging voices for a vibrant day of live music and community connection.

History

The New England Americana Fest was first held in 2007, put together by the New England Americana Association, a committee of volunteers consisting of music journalists, radio personalities, talent buyers and other general Americana music enthusiasts. Like many things, the festival was paused for a few years due to the pandemic and other factors, but was relaunched in 2024.
