Medford, MA
3/21/26
The lights are dim at Medford Brewing and the pints are flowing. Three at Home waste no time diving into their own blend of harmony-first, indie rock with soul and grit. They balance story telling with high energy performance, spurred on by the energetic drumming of Kari Paisley-Flango. The band has a stripped down Fleetwood Mac meets Brandi Carlisle feel. The drum fills are crisp and the 3 part harmonies are as tasty as the beer that flows from the taps.
Damian & The Displayers are in the headlining spot and this trio quickly commands attention with their upbeat folk pop. The band has been turning a lot of heads with their tight vocal harmonies and high energy sets. The band has an eclectic sound demonstrated by their covers of Radiohead’s “Fake Plastic Trees” and a slow version of The Killer’s “Mr Brightsides” that brings the house down. My favorite track of the night was their song “Don’t”, a surly original which had the crowd of onlookers entranced. Not a bad night of music at this up and coming music venue. (Kier Byrnes)
